"Jesus Is King" White House Transcript
- During an October 17, 2024 speech at a campaign event in La Crosse, WI, Kamala Harris said, “You guys are at the wrong rally. No, I think you meant to go to the smaller one down the street” after male voices shouted, “Christ is King!” and “Jesus is Lord!”.
- Snopes, a member of the International Fact Checking Network, acknowledged the exchange, writing: "In our analysis of the clip, we noted Harris did say, "Oh, you guys are at the wrong rally," immediately after two male voices shouted, 'Christ is King' and 'Jesus is Lord,' and a third voice, apparently female, shouted, 'That's a lie'".

U.K. May Outlaw Silent Prayer in "Buffer Zones"
- In 2022, U.K. police arrested Isabel Vaughan-Spruce for silently praying "in her head" near an abortion facility (violating a city ordinance) - sparking international outrage.
- Vaughan-Spruce received a financial settlement from the police on August 19, 2024.
- However, the U.K. is now considering revisions to a broader law - the Public Order Act - that would officially criminalize silent prayer in all designated "buffer zones," including 150 meters around abortion facilities.
- The U.K. passed the Public Order Act in 2023, creating "buffer zones" around abortion facilities to guard against negative "influence." Parliament voted against allowing silent prayer; however, draft language later added in protections.
- In August 2024, reports emerged that the law - which has yet to go into effect - may be revised to once again prohibit silent prayer. According to Policing Minister Diana Johnson: "We specifically voted against proposals to allow silent prayer... [allowing it is] not the will of Parliament."

Trump Predicted Fed Interest Rate Cuts
- During a February 4, 2024 interview with Fox News, hosted by Maria Bartiromo, Trump referred to Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell and stated: “I think he’s going to do something to probably help the Democrats, I think, if he lowers interest rates. It looks to me like he’s trying to lower interest rates for the sake of maybe getting people elected, I don’t know.”
- On September 18, 2024, 47 days out from the election, the Federal Reserve lowered interest rates in a move that’s being described as “the most surprising Fed decision since 2009.”
